My name is Adrienne Wolter.
Pages like this one sort of intimidate me because I am occasionally plagued with the intense worry that I don’t have any interesting interests. Why can’t I just tell people that I like rock climbing or homebrewing or activist-ing or something else cool like that? I don’t even have a hilarious pet cat I can take lots of pictures of and personify in order to make it famous on the interwebs.
But let’s give it a whirl. I like driving. Sometimes I go on reading binges. I can spend hours bouncing between weirder and weirder Wikipedia pages. My favorite type of music is synth pop, but I enjoy all kinds of funny genres like electro-swing and IDM. I’m a professional singer-in-the-shower. I like the idea of liking to cook, but I’m not always very good at it. I pin a lot of recipes that are far too ambitious for me, and then end up overcooking my scrambled eggs.
I majored in Studio Art at Kenyon College, but the real passions I pursued there are the internet and French. I started learning the language my sophomore year and loved it, so I studied abroad in Paris for a semester. I thought that because I learned it so quickly that I must be amazing at learning new languages, so then I decided to take Russian. Turns out I’m actually only good at learning French.
My high school sweetheart and I share an apartment in a small town in central Pennsylvania. He writes music.
I am an outreach specialist at WebpageFX. This is my personal blog, though, and doesn’t have anything to do with my work. I made my first website when I was 11.
Fogbutton, in case you haven’t already figured it out, is a made up word; it’s a screen name I’ve been using for a very long time.
Thanks for visiting my corner of the web; I hope you enjoy your stay!
